How are professional education hours reported?

Each member association has its own process for reporting professional education hours. Members of PMI, for example, are responsible for reporting their PDUs as they occur by completing and submitting the relevant forms. Members of ISACA are also required to self-report their continuing professional education (CPE) hours. As a part of the PeopleCert Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program, subscribers can earn and submit points towards acquiring and maintaining their digital badges related to qualifications such as ITIL, DevOps and PRINCE2.

How do I submit PeopleCert CPD points?

Candidates with select PeopleCert Global Best Practice certifications (ITIL, DevOps) can choose to renew within three years of their original certification dates by logging CPD points. We break it down in our CPD Program Overview or to register for membership, visit our PeopleCert Plus Annual Membership page.

How do I submit Project Management PDUs?

PMI members can submit PDUs by logging into the Continuing Certification Requirements System, selecting the appropriate category, and either searching for or entering "ITSM Academy". For example, PMI members who attend our webinars can submit for 1 PDU under the “Online or Digital Media” category. PMI members who attend our courses can submit the applicable number of PDUs under the “Course or Training” category.

Note: ITSM Academy’s R.E.P. ID (2442) was retired January 2021 when PMI retired their program. While you may still be able to locate and auto-populate course information for many of our courses, you can also simply submit the applicable number of PDUs by completing the appropriate form.
