This 2- to 4-hour workshop briefly introduces site reliability engineering (SRE) – a discipline that incorporates aspects of software engineering and applies them to infrastructure and operations problems. Key SRE principles, practices, and concepts are covered at a high level, along with SRE adoption patterns and responsibilities. The organizational impact of SRE is briefly described and how it integrates with other frameworks such as Agile, ITIL, DevOps, Value Stream Management, and Platform Engineering.
